Corman Says Senate Journals Are Now Online

(HARRISBURG) – Senator Jake Corman (R-34) today said that the complete Pennsylvania Senate Legislative Journals dating back to 1993 are now available online at

He said that journals from 2005 to the present we already made available online to the public, but now journals from as far back as 1993 will be added to the web site.

“Making these journals available to the public continues to make what we do in the Senate more transparent, accountable and open,” Corman said. “It is the public’s right to know what goes on in government, and this is another step in the right direction.”

The Legislative Journals include complete transcripts of floor actions on legislation, resolutions, Senate voting results, guests, announcements and more. The journals include both regular sessions and special sessions of the Pennsylvania Senate.

Corman said the Senate has added a number of new features to its official web site during the current legislative session. A live video feed of all Senate sessions, roll call votes from the Senate floor, votes to report bills and resolutions out of Senate committees and the text of all amendments offered on the Senate floor are some of the new additions.

The Senate’s Legislative Journals prior from 1802 to 1992 will continue to be available in the Senate Library.

Senator Jake Corman, the Senate’s Majority Policy Chairman, represents the 34th Senatorial District which includes all or parts of Centre, Mifflin, Juniata, Perry and Union Counties.
