Senator Jake Corman (R-Bellefonte) will hold a town meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, in Laurelton to meet with area residents and hear their input on state and local issues.
The meeting will be held at the Hartley Township Community Center located at 1724 State Route 235.
Corman urged constituents to attend the event if they have questions or concerns or simply want to talk about specific topics of interest.
“There are a lot of very important issues facing Pennsylvania as we work to enact a fiscally responsible state budget and address our current economic downturn,” said Corman, who chairs the Senate Appropriations Committee. “Town meetings give me a chance to hear from folks who will be impacted by these decisions and to understand their concerns and priorities. They are also a great opportunity to talk about local issues and to find out what we in state government can do to help.”
